Advisers

Andover & District Mencap provides three distinct types of advice to its members and family carers that care for them:

1. The Benefits Adviser provides advice and assistance with claiming benefits and will also do a benefits check to ensure that all the benefits a member is entitled to are being claimed.
    
2. The Life Opportunities Adviser and her assitant help people with person centred plans and find activities and work in the community.
    
3. The Families Adviser provides advice on a wide area of subjects that relate to people with a learning disability or caring for them.
