Children's Clubs

Andover and District Mencap runs a variety of clubs for adults, children and young people.  The principle philosophy behind the clubs is to provide opportunities for learning and development in a healthy, safe and fun environment.  The clubs enable members to develop their communication, social, computer and artistic skills through the medium of visits, sports, focused learning, play and socialising.

Some children's clubs run during term time while others run during holidays.  They cover an age range of 5-25 years old.  To access the clubs learning disabled children must become members of Andover and District Mencap.  We have a fantastic team of experienced staff who work within the clubs to offer a high quality service within the groups.

The children's and young people's groups are:

Young Ones is a Monday evening group which meets in term time.
TRAX Club runs during school holidays.
Playscheme runs on Saturdays during term time.
After School Club meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons.
Fun Club is active during the school holidays.
Computer Club which runs on Tues and Thurs during term time, and is for 13-25 yr olds
