Welcome to the carer’s section of our website.  Family carers have a crucial role in supporting our members.

Our carers are of all ages and each of their circumstances is unique. Some care alone and others have a spouse or outside assistance to help them.

This section is about supporting carers themselves and not the person they care for, which is addressed elsewhere on this website.

In this section you will find information on carers’ rights and carer’s assessments. In addition there is some useful information on finance matters that apply to carers. We do not give financial advice, but link you to other sites that do.

There are other national and local organisations that provide information to carers. Information on these can be downloaded from this page.
