Volunteering

Volunteers at Andover & District Mencap add real value to what we do. They work in wide ranging roles from the general helper, helpers with clubs and supported employment to trustees. In fact we have volunteers with a wide range of skill sets which add real value to the organisation and we often need more.

The volunteers work in a variety of settings with our members and with support from staff. The work can be evening, sometimes weekends or daytime through the week. Some volunteers work a regular weekly slot, but some do more that this, and some work on a less regular basis, but all bring a lot of enjoyment to those they work alongside. The work can be personally very rewarding.
