Senior Parents Group

The Senior Parents group was formed in 1995 to offer support to older parents/carers. Its purpose is to offer friendship and opportunities to meet with other older parents fur mutual support. They go on social outings as decided by the members. This gathering of older carers provides an opportunity to share information of benefit to carers and to make sure that they are claiming the right benefits for themselves and their sons or daughters. Carers have an opportunity to share problems and to bring issues to the attention of people within Andover Mencap who can help in the other areas of housing, welfare and any other concerns.
