Senior Parents Group

The Senior Parents group was formed in 1995 to offer support to older parents/carers. Its purpose is to offer friendship and opportunities to meet with other older parents fur mutual support.

This gathering of older carers provides an opportunity to share information of benefit to carers and to make sure that they are claiming the right benefits for themselves and their sons or daughters.

Carers have an opportunity to share problems and to bring issues to the attention of people within Andover Mencap who can help in the other areas of housing, welfare and any other concerns.

The group normally meets on the third Thursday of each month at Bonhomie Centre at 10.30 am. More information can be obtained from our offices by calling Marian Grundy on 01264 321840.
