Support at Home
The range of direct support we provide is dependent on the member's assessed needs and wishes. This can vary anywhere between high intensity care (e.g. 50 hours a week) to only one hour a week. In addition to our direct support, all members using Supported Living Service are allocated their own Coordinator who oversees their general day to day support as well as monitoring and assisting with their welfare and housing needs. There is also an 'On Call' service that operates when our offices are closed in order to provide a point of contact if a member has an emergency. All our staff are trained to a high standard and undergo regular training updates as well as additional training when additional skills are required to work with a specific member. We seek to meet our Care Standards Act 2000 requirements and we are regulated and inspected by the Commission for Social Care Inspection. At the moment, Support is mainly funded through Social Services and Supporting People contracts but members can buy support directly from us if they wish.
